      1. I too am not of American residency, in fact, I don’t even know what it means? However I do have my suspicions. I would suggest that the American people just wanted to have a Christmas dinner before Christmas day. God bless America

      2. It’s self explanatory I guess. But even us non Americans could share their celebration of joy. Like you said, it’s similar to Christmas but much earlier. 🙂

      3. I want them to celebrate bonfire night then! And, while we are on the bloody subject, why does Australia have a national bloody holiday for the Queen’s bloody birthday when England doesn’t?

      4. I am not really sure why. (laughs) Celebrations come with different significance. In fact, in our case, there is a fiesta everyday in any one of the thousands of small villages around the archipelago.
        Let me guess. Perhaps, Australians are more British than Britons. 🙂

  1. My friends have just been to see the Stylistics in Cork city, Ireland this past week. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and said the group performed as well as they had done in their younger days.
