Seemingly defeated by Luck,

Denied to propel my vitality,

Deprived of mere endurance,

Prevented of instant mobility.

I call on you, Inner Drive,

Compel my mind ability,

Explain to my heart faith,

Combine them of positivity.

I summon you, Strength,

Force my body to activity,

Flex its muscles, its flesh,

Regain control of agility.

I command you, Speech,

Voice out not ambiguity,

But the clearest language,

Of hope, defy negativity.

Thus, I will stand before you,

Victorious against disability,

Proud survivor of disease,

Healthy to rejoin humanity.

  1. I need help with this too. Too many times, I let myself be lazy. Maybe that’s not what you meant, but that’s how it worked for me. That’s the nice thing about art/poetry. It can be translated in many ways 🙂 Seriously, love your poetry.

    1. Thank you for the kind words. 🙂
This is the second part of the post Healing. A motivational post to never surrender. Will power can provide what other people might call a miracle.
Laziness is also a disease. A mild one, I might say. 🙂 So your interpretation is also correct.

What's on your mind?
